# Destroy Scan > A browser interface for the PhishDestroy public domain threat intelligence API. It checks blocklist matches and available risk signals; it does not guarantee safety. The checker extracts a normalized hostname from a public domain or HTTP(S) URL. It discards paths, query strings, and fragments. The request is sent only to api.destroy.tools, not to the submitted site. This interface does not request takedowns or save lookup history. ## Documentation - [Checker overview](https://ban.destroy.tools/index.md): Input format, result meanings, errors, privacy, and agent access. - [API documentation](https://api.destroy.tools/): Authoritative REST API reference. No API key is required. - [Tool directory](https://destroy.tools/services.json): Structured URLs and documented operations across the project. ## Project - [PhishDestroy](https://phishdestroy.io/): Domain reports and investigations. - [Destroy Tools](https://destroy.tools/): Project tools, contacts, and repositories. - [Appeals](https://phishdestroy.io/appeals): Free false-positive review. - [Legal and terms](https://phishdestroy.io/terms): Project policies. - [Privacy](https://phishdestroy.io/privacy): Data-handling policies. ## Source and data - [PhishDestroy on GitHub](https://github.com/phishdestroy) - [PhishDestroy on GitLab](https://gitlab.com/phishdestroy) - [DestroyList blocklist](https://github.com/phishdestroy/destroylist) - [MCP server](https://api.destroy.tools/mcp): Streamable HTTP, no auth.
